What Worked --The biggest mismatch came in air against a Titans defense that ranked No. 31 versus the pass. The Chargers took full advantage with Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates and Vincent Jackson all having big games. Rivers completed more than 70 percent of his passes for the fifth time in the last seven games; Gates caught his fifth TD in the last five games; and Jackson led the team with five receptions. If Jackson gains 33 yards next week and Gates gains 55, the Bolts will have two 1,200-yard receivers for the first time since 1980 when John Jefferson (1,340) and Kellen Winslow (1,290) did it. Charlie Joiner, now the receivers coach in San Diego, also topped 1,000 yards in that magical 1980 season (1,132). --LaDainian Tomlinson and Darren Sproles combined for five touchdowns, yet neither led the team in rushing.
