In anticipation of next month's annual Miller Lite Vikings Draft Party at Mall of America Field on April 25, the Vikings are going to unveil a new uniform design.
It is unclear how radical the changes will be, but, since the league changed its official licensed apparel contract from Reebok to Nike, several teams have undergone changes to their uniforms to mark the new jersey supplier. Some of them have been more pronounced (like the Miami Dolphins logo change) while others have been more subtle in the design of the uniform.
As part of the uniform change, the Vikings launched the "Vikings Uniform Insider" campaign. By taking part in the team's official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, fans will get the chance to unlock 12 uniform teasers design to add to the excitement of the April unveiling. Those participating in the social media forum will receive an in-depth look at the new uniforms April 25.
The Vikings uniform design has undergone changes in the past, the last being a modification of white/purple stripes down the sides of the jersey following a similar design change started by the Denver Broncos. For those who want the newest and latest uniforms, you may want to wait until draft weekend, when not only will the uniform design be released, but they will become available for sale as well.
