Donnell Washington is a returning starter on the defensive line...a veteran of over 1,000 snaps in just two years, as he went over the 1,000-play mark in the Tangerine Bowl...played 597 snaps as a starter in 2002 and now has 1,028 snaps of action under his belt heading into his junior year...has played in 25 consecutive games, including 13 in a row as a starter...his first tackle of 2003 will be the 100th of his career...preseason second-team All-ACC according to The Sporting News entering 2003...is the second-strongest player on the team in the bench press with a 510-pound figure...also third on the squad in 225-pound reps (32)...also third in the power clean (365), third in the hang clean (380), and third in the push jerk (370)...tied for first on the team in overall strength at 1,835 pounds...has a 32-inch vertical jump, outstanding for someone who stands 6’6” and weighs 320 pounds.
