2002: Often spectacular in relief of Tim Couch during excellent

(73 attempts, 45 completions)... Threw for one touchdown, but also tossed eight

1996: Was on Indianapolis' practice squad, and later become third QB...
Did not appear in any regular season action... Signed by Colts in
November after being waived by Tampa Bay at the end of training camp.

Middle Tennessee State University (1991-1994)
Played in 43 games for MTSU, starting all of them... Threw for 7,064 yards on
501-of-801 passing over four years... Threw for 2,154 yards as a senior... Was
named to All-Ohio-Valley team after his senior year... Only missed one game
during career, due to fractured jaw as a sophomore.
Contract Status: Holcomb signed a four-year contract prior to joining the
Browns in 2001. The deal will pay him $825,000 in 2003, and $975,000 in 2004.
