| Biography: |
Jason Ball was signed as an undrafted free agent out of New Hampshire on April 23rd, 2002 by the San Diego Chargers
NFL
Took over for Cory Raymer at the center position and has not looked back. He has been the catalyst for the Chargers success as a running team. A true warrior since he has arrived as a starter for the Bolts. The most pleasant surprise on the line and he has brought consistency with him. He ended the season winning the Chargers "Lineman of the Year" Award.
Scouting Report
The Chargers Insiders Staff had Ball rated as a 7th round pick. Tough, nasty lineman that looks to get involved in the action. Ball is mentally alert and quickly picks up stunts and twists but lacks overall blocking range and is not a good pulling center. He has been a bit lazy at times and has difficulty with the shotgun snap.
College
Started every game (35) he's ever played in for the Wildcats. Graded 84.1 percent for blocking consistency and totaled 105 key blocks/knockdowns for an offense that averaged 449.2 yards per game.
