| Dielman signed a six-year deal worth $40 million on March 3, 2007.
Kris Dielman was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent April 28th, 2003.
Dielman was signed to the Chargers practice squad for the 2003 season.He was released by the Chargers on Aug. 26 at the roster cut down to 65 before being re-signed to the practice squad on Sept. 1.
NFL A defensive end in college, Dielman moved to offensive guard with the Chargers.
2008
Appeared in 15 games with just as many starts. He allowed zero sacks on the season and was called for five penalties.
2007
Dielman started in all 16 games for the Chargers, a career first.
College
Underwent surgery on a ruptured tendon in his ankle over the winter. A two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten selection. Former tight end that moved to the defensive line last season, posting 55 tackles with 14 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. Started every game at tight end as a junior and caught 14 passes for 206 yards with 2 scores.
