Osgood was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent on April 28th, 2003.He signed a four-year extension prior to the 2006 season.
2007
Was named to the 2008 Pro Bowl as a special teamer. For the Chargers he appeared in all 16 games and made big contributions on special teams. Tallied 23 yards on two receptions as a receiver.
2006
Contributed almost exclusively on special teams. Finished with nine tackles despite facing constant double teams, earning a Pro Bowl invite for his efforts. Failed to catch a pass on the season.
2005
As his role on offense diminished, his contributions on special teams continued to grow. Finished with 18 tackles on the coverage units despite missing the season's final four games with a pectoral injury.
2004
Started a career-high seven games, earning time because of his run-blocking skills as much as anything else. Finished with 15 catches for 308 yards and two touchdowns.
2003
Made the team as an undrafted free agent and earned more time as the season progressed, starting two of the final four games. Finished with 13 catches for 278 yards and two scores.
College
A Cal-Poly transfer to SDSU and was awarded All-Conference honors last season catching 108 passes for 1,552 yards with 8 scores. Former a D-IAA All-American and set an NCAA record with 376 receiving yards in a single game. |
