Started 13 of 16 games at right end and finished with 33 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Appeared primed for a breakout season as a pass rusher before he was slowed by a knee injury early in the season.
2005
Started 12 games at right end and totaled 29 tackles and a career-high three sacks. Helped the team finish No. 1 in rush defense.
2004
Started all 16 games as a rookie, netting 39 tackles, one sack and two pass breakups.
Career
He signed a six-year contract that could be worth $7.565 million if he hits various escalators and incentives. The final year is voidable. He's guaranteed $2.335 million, with $2.25 million arriving in a signing bonus.
College
Olshansky, 6-6, 305 pounds, is known for his incredible strength. He pushed up 41 reps on the 225 pound bench press, second at the combines. He ripped off 43 just weeks later at his Pro Day.
Olshansky ended his junior year with 58 tackles, 15 behind the line and 6.5 sacks. He has played both tackle and end.
