| Biography: |
| Burgess collected 11 sacks in his second season in Oakland during the 2006 campaign. He also contributed 50 tackles and forced one fumble.
Earned first career Pro Bowl nod in his first season in Oakland in 2005 when he led the NFL in sacks with 16.0. Became the first Raider to lead the league in sacks since the sack became an official stat in 1982. Set a new franchise single-season record with 16.0 sacks, eclipsing Sean Jones' total of 15.5 set in 1986.
Signed as a free agent on March 12, 2005 after playing his first four years with the Philadelphia Eagles. |
