Finished with 48 catches for 659 yards despite missing two games with a neck injury. Returned 37 punts for 331 yards, filling in when Darren Sproles was lost for the year during the preseason.

Set career highs with 57 catches and 725 yards. Added three touchdowns and returned 18 punts for 106 yards.

Became a full-time starter opposite Reche Caldwell early and Keenan McCardell late. Finished with 47 catches for 690 yards and a career-high four touchdowns. Returned 27 punts for 237 yards.
2003
Missed the final two months of the season with a shoulder injury. Prior to that, he totaled 18 catches for 244 yards and three touchdowns, starting four of eight contests. Returned 23 punts for 207 yards.

After starting the season on the practice squad, he soon more to the active roster and into the starting line-up by season's end. Finished with 17 catches for 268 yards and a touchdown.

His career totals included 64 receptions for 829 yards (12.9 avg.) and three touchdowns. He also returned 107 punts for 930 yards (8.7 avg.) and one score.

Chargers Insider staff had Parker tabbed as a potential free agent pickup. Effectively uses his body to shield away opponents, adjusts well to the errant throw and looks the pass in. Times and anticipates his receptions nicely, exposing himself to make the difficult catch in traffic. Lacks deep speed. |
