Ed Ellis was signed as an unrestricted free agent prior to the 2001 season.
NFL
2002
Ellis has seen considerable playing time in his second season as a Bolt. He had a shaky start in St. Louis on November 10th committing 4 penalties. He has seen a lot of time as a second TE in some situations.
2001
Started one game in 2001 and that game LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for a season high 145 yards. Ellis has been used as an extra tight end on many occassions and has proved to be versatile.
