Biography:
If there were one wild card in the tackle position next April it would be Georgia's George Foster. A terrific athlete with a great upside, constant injuries have left him on the sidelines missing valuable playing time and the ability to learn the position. Do teams take a chance on him next April early in the draft?

High School: Southeast...Named AAAA All-State first team by the the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Georgia Sports Writers Association....named to Super Southern 100 and Top 50 in Georgia by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.....named to Macon Telegraph's "Sweet 16".....All-City junior and senior seasons and All-Middle Georgia senior season by Macon Telegraph.....Most Valuable Team Lineman junior and senior seasons...named a team captain his senior season...had 25 tackles and seven quarterback sacks his senior season...coaches' Most Improved Player award both sophomore and junior seasons...selected to play in 1998 Georgia-Florida All-Star Game...High School Coach: Jimmy Stewart.

1998 - Redshirted

1999 - Had outstanding spring practice....listed as number two LT at conclusion of spring drills...played in all 12 games during '99 season in offensive line...had one start vs. LSU at RT....played in Georgia's 28-25 come-from-behind overtime victory over Purdue in the Outback Bowl, the biggest comeback in bowl history (from 0-25 deficit) and the first major sporting event of the 21st century (11:07 a.m., Jan. 1, 2000)

2000 -- Listed as number two RT at conclusion of spring drills....one of Georgia top offensive line reserves earning significant playing time during the season....played in Georgia's 37-14 victory over Virginia in the 2000 Oahu Bowl, Georgia's fourth consecutive bowl victory

2001 -- Missed most of spring drills with right knee and ankle sprains....listed as number one ST at conclusion of spring drills....recipient of Bill and Jane Young Endowed Football Scholarship...made eight consecutive starts at left tackle including Music City Bowl vs. Boston College....Major: Recreation and Leasure Studies.
