| Biography: |
Justin Peelle was drafted by San Diego in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft, 103rd overall.
Scouting Report
Peelle was projected as a 6th round pick by the Chargers Insiders staff. Two-year starter who was a second team All-Conference selection as a senior when he totaled 34/491/14.4/9 after 24/388/16.2/5 as a junior. Athletic TE that does a good job as a blocker with solid fundamentals. Plays faster than his forty time and works hard. Solid route runner and a good pass catcher. Better pass blocker than run bocker. Can get jammed off the line.
2002
He is still looking for his first catch of the season through week 5.
College Career
Peelle finished his career at Oregon having played 42 games, with 70 catches for 944 yards and 14 touchdowns. His longest reception was for 58 yards against Arizona State in 2000. Peelle was a four-time All-Pac-10 Conference Academic Team selection. |
