Hand was signed to the Chargers practice squad for the 2003 season.
Hand was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent on April 28th, 2003.
College
Started every game at left defensive end, recording 68 tackles (40 solos) with 2 sacks for minus-10 yards and 5 stops for losses of 21 yards as a senior. He also had a team-high 17 quarterback pressures and deflected a pass.
One of three team captains, he recorded 103 tackles (58 solos) with 31⁄2 sacks, 10 stops behind the line of scrimmage, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble during his career.
