| Zeke Moreno UFA Chargers – He came off the bench in his first two seasons and then started 14 games in 2003. Moreno came off the bench in 2004 again when the club changed schemes to be 3-4. Moreno has always been known as a pretty decent run defender but also isn’t quick to the ball and is a not good in pass coverage.
Zeke Moreno was drafted in the 5th round of the 2001 NFL Draft.

Started and finished the season as the team's MLB. He posted over 90 tackles in his first year as a starter.
2002
Seems to be the heir apparent to Junior Seau. Has played in all games where Seau is injured taking his spot and finds ways to make plays using the same energy that Seau often shows on the field.
2001
He was also one of the Chargers’ top special teams players, ranking third on the squad in tackles in 2001.Recorded first-career sack, forced fumble and three tackles against Denver Oct. 21 playing for injured Junior Seau.
