| Kevin Carter is not the presence along the defensive line he once was, though he remains one of the better defensive linemen in the game. He is a very good athlete, this athleticism masks some areas of inefficiency. While not known as being a physically strong player, Carter is productive due to his experience, quickness, and natural athletic ability. Not a dominant in any one facet of the game, Carter is well-versed and plays at a high level. Massive offensive linemen can give Carter problems, but he displays sound technique to avoid being manhandled when engaging. Carter does not rush the quarterback nearly as well as he did in the past, but remains a sporadic threat, while becoming a solid lineman against the run. |
