From 2004 to 2007, LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates dominated like no other tandem. The Chargers thrived between the hashes, forcing linebackers to come up to stop LT before throwing over them to hit Gates. But with the development of Philip Rivers and San Diego’s receivers, LT and Gates are relegated to supporting roles.
