Chargers fans should avoid the temptation to sulk following their team’s 26-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Firstly, several of the NFL’s other upper echelon teams lost on opening day, which will keep the Chargers from falling behind in the race for a bye week. Secondly, and more importantly, Philip Rivers played fantastic football.
