LT Named AFC Player of the Week
His 220 yards breaks the record for most rushing yards in a game. He had tied the mark with his 217 earlier this season. The mark was originally set by Gary Anderson.
Tomlinson now has 1,318 rushing yards on the season, 33 shy of surpassing Natrone Means' team single-season rushing record of 1,350 yards in 1994, and just 4 shy of the league leader Priest Holmes who has 1,322.
Tomlinson had 48 touches on the day, including a game changing 76 yard run while the Bolts were down 10-0. The run allowed the Chargers to storm back and eventually win in overtime 30-27. Besides the 220 rushing, he added 51 receiving on 11 catches.
Baltimore safety Chad Williams and Pittsburgh kicker Jeff Reed were named the AFC's Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
