SDBoltReport.com's Michael Kranzler continues with his series of rookie interviews, this time talking with former SDSU guard Brandyn Dombrowski. The rookie lineman talks about playing some tackle, staying in San Diego and learning from Mike Goff. Find out what else he has to say in this Q&A.

Click here for the "Insiders only" portion of this interview, where Dombrowski talks about his conflicts with his high school coach; his academic ineligibility as a senior at SDSU; and his challenges in making the Chargers' roster.

Michael Kranzler: Do you feel you are capable of moving outside and playing some tackle?

Brandyn Dombrowski: You know what? I'm ready to do whatever the coach wants me to do. Whatever he tells me to do, I'm ready to do it.

MK: What does it mean to you to get to stay in San Diego and play for the Chargers?

BD: I'm very blessed to be able to do this. It's so great to stay in San Diego. I love San Diego and it's great to be able to continue my career here.

MK: Your offensive line coach [Jonathan Himebauch] says that you're a major joker off of the field. What sort of things have you done to get that reputation?

BD: [Laughing] We just had a good bunch of people, and we goofed around and joked around with each other. We had a good time.

MK: Have any of the Chargers veterans started to mentor you on the field?

BD: All of them have. They help us as much as they can with all of their knowledge. We have some of the best players around right now, and anything they tell you, you're going to sit there and listen to what they have to say.

MK: Any players specifically?

BD: Well I'm at the guard position, so Kris Dielman helps us, Mike Goff helps us. Everybody at the position helps you, and I appreciate anything that will help me make the team.

MK: What do you like to do in your free time?

BD: Work out, go to movies and hang out with friends.

MK: Do you have any favorite movies?

BD: Actually, I just saw Iron Man, and that was pretty good. I liked that one a lot.
