Roman Oben Reche Caldwell

Posted Nov 15, 2006

The San Diego Chargers offensive line increased its depth on Wednesday with the activation of Roman Oben from the Physically Unable to Perform list.

The San Diego Chargers have added offensive tackle Roman Oben to the active roster from the “Physically Unable to Perform” list. Oben spent the first 10 weeks of the 2006 season on the PUP list while recovering from offseason foot surgery. He started the first eight games of the 2005 season at left tackle before injuring his foot.

To make room on the active roster for Oben, the Chargers waived strong safety Andre Lott. The Chargers have also signed wide receiver Ricky Bryant to the team’s practice squad.
