Chargers Draft Prospectus VIII

Wide receiver is a position that needs to be upgraded. No disrespect to the current troops, but there isn't any long term answer at the position until proven otherwise. The San Diego Chargers jettisoned David Boston this offseason and now are left with lots of number two's, but no number ones.

Kevin Dyson was a fantastic signing for this season, but his contract is for one year. The number two receiver figures to be a mix of Tim Dwight, Eric Parker, Reche Caldwell and Kassim Osgood. The undrafted rookies, Osgood and Parker, have shown more promise than their more heralded counterparts. For Caldwell and Dwight this could be their last hoorah.
